John Roberts Associates Ltd is a change management consultancy company based in East Lancashire, UK.
They approached us to continue development on their partially completed website after their previous supplier ceased trading mid development. Remedial work to a tight budget was immediately necessary and was completed ahead of schedule and within financial constraints.
Design brief
Health checking their existing incomplete web presence revealed old school table based design that affected the accessibility and usability of the site. We drafted a prioritised and budgeted fix list that gave JRA a range of options for incremental site improvement. Our recommended baseline action was a fundamental rebuild to remove outdated and redundant mark-up and replace it with W3C standards compliant code which would help to ensure faster browser rendering and increased accessibility for both humans and search engines.
Development notes
Minor graphic housekeeping and general tidying was implemented and although a full graphic redesign was not implemented at this stage of redevelopment it is planned for later in 2007.
